Chelsea are ready to smash their transfer record this summer to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, according to reports.
Haaland has pinpointed by the Blues as one of their top targets and they are keen on bolstering their attacking ranks with his signature.
Haaland has been in fine form for Dortmund this season, proving himself as one of the most exciting talents in the world.
Chelsea are being heavily linked with a move for soon-to-be free agent David Alaba.
As mentioned earlier, reports in Germany claim the Blues have submitted a pre-contract offer ahead of the summer after the versatile defender’s agent offered his player to them late last year.
But Chelsea aren’t Alaba’s only option with Manchester United also said to have submitted a proposal, and what’s more, Real Madrid are also said to be interested.
Some reports even claim the Spanish giants are his favoured option.
This race could get heated in the coming weeks.
Chelsea’s transfer priorities locked in
A Frank Lampard departure would not change Chelsea’s transfer plans, according to CBS Sport.
The Blues have been linked with a number of players ahead of the summer, including Declan Rice and Erling Haaland.
And according to the report, their transfer priorities won’t change, even if Lampard does go and has to be replaced by a new boss.
Tomori deal agreed
AC Milan are now said to have agreed a deal that will see Fikayo Tomori join AC Milan on loan.
Sky Sports Italy report the deal is now agreed and that there is an option to buy worth around €30M.
A medical is expected to take place tomorrow morning.
